Gonzalo Zubieta


Gonzalo Zubieta is a Senior Associate who has been a key contributor for taking the Adaptive Leadership Framework into the consulting practice and application in Chile and Latin America.  Gonzalo has engaged with many clients in different sectors helping them to increase their competitive edge in the marketplace working extensively with CEOs and executive teams.  His work has included defining the adaptive challenge at different levels such as: strategic development, competitiveness, change management, cultural change, and high-performance teamwork.

Gonzalo remains connected with the academic world as the Director of Research and Learning at the Center for Strategic Leadership at the University Adolfo Ibáñez where he also teaches 4 MBA and 2 undergraduate courses on Adaptive Leadership.  He co-created 3 other open enrollment courses using the Adaptive Leadership Framework focused on CEOs, Organizational Change and Inside-Out change with great success. In addition, he is among the best evaluated speakers at the Center for Executive Education considered to be one of the top 50 best Executive programs in the world by Financial Times, Nº 2 in Latin America and Nº 1 in Chile.  He has spoken at more than 20 companies in Latin America and has been invited to speak at a conference organized by the World Bank and the United Nations.

Gonzalo brings more than 14 years of professional experience that started in the technology sector, then in global trade and later on in management consulting. Among the clients with whom he has worked are JPMorgan, IBM, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, Citibank and BHP Billiton. All this experience has allowed him to become a seasoned consultant, speaker, facilitator, teacher, coach and trainer in leadership.

Gonzalo holds a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics from Austin College, an M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, postgraduate certificate from Oxford University, and an MPA from Harvard University with a concentration in Strategic Management and Leadership.
